Description of Rooms:
The operating season at Northbrook Lodge is from early June through mid-September.
The rooms at Northbrook offer a rustic charm. There are not, however, phones or televisions in the rooms. Guests have access to a common phone in the Boathouse and are expected to use a calling card. A small refrigerator is located in each room. There is daily maid service and towels and linens are provided. We are sorry that we can not accommodate pets at Northbrook Lodge.
The rooms vary considerably in size and layout. There are 5 Master rooms that are larger and offer better views. There are 8 Standard Rooms and 2 discounted small rooms best suited for single occupancy. There is also one separate Cottage that can accommodate up to 5 people in one large room.
Room Listing: Here is a descriptive list of the rooms at Northbrook. Rooms marked with *** are Master Rooms which are larger and higher priced. Whiteface: Whiteface #2 - Same as #1 except only a king size bed available. Whiteface #3 - A small single room, one double bed, inquire for reduced rates. Whiteface #4 - A small double room-- inquire for reduced rates per day per person (double occupancy) or for single occupancy. Main: *** Main #2 - Very large room with two double beds, big picture window with fireplace and big open porch. Great view. *** Main #3 - Very large room with two double beds, big picture window, long hallway with walk-in closet, large bathroom and screened in porch. Great view. Main #4 - Long hallway with a small child's room with single bed on one side and a bedroom across the hall with one queen bed and one single bed. Large bathroom and screened porch with lake view from the porch. Good for kids. Main #5 - A room with one queen and one single bed, open porch and partial view of lake. Shares an outside porch with Main #1 and an inside entrance hallway which can also connect to Main #2 through a closet door. Good for kids with parents in Main #1. Gabriels: Gabriels #2 - Same as Gabriels #1, plus an added outside porch wing. Marcy: *** Marcy #2 - Room with queen bed, large bathroom, fireplace, and big open porch. Great view. *** Marcy #3 - Large room with one queen and one double bed with big walk-in closet and two large screened in porches with extra single sleeping bed on second porch. Has view of the lake.
